Forever and Always by Jennifer McNAre

Note: I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

There are many things that haunt the Duke of Sethe, one of them being women. That doesn’t stop him from developing feelings for the bright and spirited Ashleigh St. John, a young lady just on the verge of coming into the ton skirting her unconventional ways.

There was a problem of drawn out scenes that made me want to skip over parts due to over description. It also seemed like the structure was choppy and the viewpoints were switching too much to keep track of.

The characters attitudes also confused me in a way. I liked Ashleigh but her feelings towards Nicholas seemed strained and forced. I didn’t like Nicholas at all. I never fell in love with him the whole way through. I understand his plight and I respect him for it but his attitude towards Ashleigh was wishy washy.
