Tokyo Mew Mew Review

Story: With the distinct feeling of a Sailor Moon anime, Tokyo Mew Mew brings on a variety of characters.  With the five girls banding together to fight the forces of evil and saving the world they are transformed into animals with the powers of the elements.  A different villain at every turn and new elemental powers.
Animation: The animation style was a little more on the cartoony side although the series was drawn very well.
Sound: The sounds was of good quality with a catchy theme song.
Characters: The characters are not as developed as the characters is Sailor Moon, although there are glimpses of life outside of the Mew Mew group the stories are not really divulged at great length.  Although there has been a wonderful emphasis placed on the distinct differences between them.
Overall: Another feel-good comedy with family-friendly fights and enough excitement to keep the plot moving right along.
Story: 9
Animation: 9.5
Sound: 9
Characters: 9
Overall: 9.1
