A Lie I Don’t Want to Hide

Can’t you see, through my arms open wide?

Pass the smile and the growing façade.

To what I really think,

What I really feel.

You fool hardedly wished to follow me

But your alone now,

Set down with my apology.

I cannot help you.

I never really wanted too.

I wanted to leave you.

That’s what I was trying to do.

So sorry I used you,

But only for a time.

Now I am looking for a better find.

You were not worth it,

I knew it all along.

You would have been my destruction

And I had to save myself.
